The National Portrait Gallerys Heinz Archive and Library is open by appointment (Tuesday to Thursday 10 am to 5 PM) to visitors who are interested in any aspect of British portraiture or in the history of the Gallery. Appointments can be made by email archive@npg.org.uk or telephone 020 7321 6617.
