DescriptionDraft letter written in ink [to Romney’s son] discussing family matters. The letter relays the fact that Jimmey (Romney’s brother) has been supported by Romney and states that he feels no guilt of neglect. Romney says he will send money to his son shortly. He also notes that Molly (Romney’s wife) is not well and is surprised that she has decided to visit him without asking whether it suits him. After signing off, Romney notes that whatever was in the last two letters he does not know as Brother John would not let him read them.

Folio 66 verso features ink marks in the top left corner; Folio 67 recto contains a few ink marks in the lower half.
