Page 86 contains a list of accounts for works completed or sold (in most cases portraits but some prints) in 1890. The page has been divided into five columns which record the following: Column 1 - Blank Column 2 - Blank Column 3 - Name of sitter or work Column 4 - Blank Column 5 - Price paid, with total of monies received at the bottom of each page
Works recorded on p. 86: -Three quarter picture of Dr Pusey, done on request of The Dean of Christ Church, Oxford for the Gallery of Christ Church. Richmond notes it was a great labour and he paid Mr W. Miller 15 guineas for assistance. (NPG 1059 is a study for this work) -Royal Academy pension
Richmond records he earnt £384.5 in 1890.
At the bottom of the page Richmond has noted that he had the hourary degree of L.D. conferred upon him by the University of Cambridge, "so I am now honourably associated with both universities!! to me most wonderful." |
