DescriptionAdolph Hahn (1855-1928) was a picture restorer, trade records show him to have been in business from 1888 operating on Wardour Street. His clients included the picture framemakers, R. Dolman & Sons, he also undertook unspecified work at the National Portrait Gallery, the Garrick Club and the Guildhall. He retired on the outbreak of the First World War at the age of 60. He died in Wandsworth in 1928, his son Charles Adolphus Hahn (1881-1939) continued the business and as of 2017 it contimues to be operated by a descemdant of Adolph Hahn.
