DescriptionJohn Bell and Co. write that they believe the Rock Oil No. 2 to be derived from the same source as the more rapidly evaporating oil, the difference being that it is distilled at a higher temperature; they write that they do not believe it would injure oil colours, but it should be tested as they do not know that it has been used for this purpose; they write that they propose to send a quarter can to Guildford by carrier as they find the railway regulations to be stringent.
