Description
Laurie writes that he has not answered Watts' letter as he has been away; Laurie writes that Venice turpentine can be thinned with petroleum and reminds Watts not to bring the petroleum near a light of any kind; Laurie writes that a little oil can be mixed in without injury, but advises not to mix it on the picture until he has experimented with it first; Laurie writes that he is glad to hear that Mrs Watts is going to write the detailed account.
